March 27th MMA Fight Show Recap

Team CALHOONIn the 5 round, title fight Main Event, Calhoon’s own Josh Busby captured the 155 pound Extreme Cage Wars title as he defeated his opponent in the 1st round! Busby now holds the 155 pound belt in 2 different organizations (the 2nd title having been won in his victory at the “Night of Champions 2” show in Tri Cities back in January).

Busby will next compete for the FCFF organization at the Chinook Winds Casino & Resort on the Oregon Coast, Saturday night, May 1st.

Earlier in the evening, Calhoon’s Nick Johnson defeated his opponent impressively via 2nd round arm bar submission in his MMA debut.

Also making his MMA debut was Brandon Warshauer who did well but ended up tapping out to a choke in the 1st round.

The community has voted Calhoon’s Martial Arts & Fitness the “Best Martial Arts School in Walla Walla” again for the 5th straight year! It is a great honor to receive this award again!
