Sylvia Clark—Licensed Massage Therapist
Sylvia Clark has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2000. She graduated from the Utah College of Massage with over 1100 hours of training. In school she had areas of concentration in Swedish, Russian, Trigger Point, Acupressure, Sports Injury Rehab., Reflexology, Hydrotherapy, Cranial-Sacral, Shiatsu and Stretching.
Sylvia has previously worked for the American Chiropractic Clinic, Health Quest Therapeutic Massage, and has volunteered chair massage at many local events. Sylvia has also studied Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Pharmacology and Massage, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Massage as continued education. She also considers her son Andy, 6 years of age, to be one of those continued educations. (As we know children can be a wonderful learning experience.)
One of Sylvia's goals is to become licensed in the state of Oregon, where she resides. To reach this goal she must study once again, the Fundamentals of Massage, but for the Oregon State Board of Health. She regularly pursues continued education to stay current with various methods of care to expand her abilities as a member in healthcare.
She can customize sessions for her clients using many of the massage modalities she has learned in order to provide optimal results. Sylvia's intentions are to provide a "sacred space", offering a loving presence of honesty, integrity, respect and acceptance. She feels every person is in need of a more positive touch in their lives, that they can receive through Massage Therapy.
